Read the outline as well as the colour
Cherries use a paired red-fruit shape; Lemon is a single bright oval; Grapes form a purple cluster. Bell has a flared golden outline, Seven is a red numeral, and Coin is a round sunburst disc. Name the emblem when announcing a pattern so nobody has to rely on colour alone.
These are six different symbol types. A Bell and a Coin are not a match just because both are gold. Likewise, a red Seven cannot stand in for Cherries. Only the explicit Strike-card rule permits a temporary substitution.
A matching result earns one seal
Two matching symbols on the selected pattern award two point coins and one seal of that symbol. Three matching symbols award four point coins and one seal. The seal is a collection marker; it is not an extra reel tile and cannot be placed on the shared board.
A pattern with three different symbols earns one point coin and no seal. Every symbol type uses the same awards. Coin and Seven have distinctive artwork, but neither carries a secret multiplier or a higher base reward.
Collect variety across six turns
At the end, count the different seal types in your tray and add two points for each. A tray containing Cherries, Cherries, Bell and Coin has three different types, so its collection bonus is six. The duplicate Cherries seal adds no second variety bonus.
Keep matching seals together and different types visibly separated. This makes the closing count quick to check and helps you decide whether a new type would be more useful than another copy of something already collected.
